Green Belt in Lean Healthcare

Introduction

This 8 day training and certification program is developed specifically towards people in Healthcare environments. Participants acquire the necessary basic knowledge of Lean and can apply basic Lean tools in order to be part of an improvement team or even lead/coach improvement events. All cases and examples used in this training come from a healthcare environment.

What can I do with this training?

‘Lean’ is a business strategy for organizing and improving your operational activities in order to achieve your organization's objectives in a more effective way and to become more competitive. We strive for perfection in improving the flow of value through processes and departments, by mobilizing all employees, day after day, to reduce waste (non-value added activities). Success stories in the US and UK have proven that Lean, when implemented in a correct way, can result in drastic improvements in care quality, overall patient experience, low cost, better resource utilization of medical staff.

Target Audience

People in Healthcare environments who want to be part of an improvement (e.g. department, process, etc.) team or want to lead/coach such a team.
