Basic Work Study - Productivity Improvement Techniques

Introduction

A five day modular class offering a selection of effective work method improvement and time study analysis techniques.

This class is the perfect preparation/addition to any Lean training. It is often forgotten that Industrial Engineering techniques for analysis, measuring and improving work methods form the basis of Lean techniques for eliminating waste and redesigning value streams for flow. Lean as a business strategy does want to impact productivity, efficiency and effectiveness, which are the basic outcome measures of Industrial Engineering/Work Study techniques.
We will cover the basics of process/work method/motion analysis and time study and a selection of relevant techniques that can be used in many work environments.

It is also possible to subscribe per module (Method Engineering, Time Study, Ergonomics/Human Factors)

What can I do with this training?

After this five day class you will expanded your process improvement/lean toolbox with  an extensive selection of the most relevant work method analysis and improvement techniques, as well as time study methods fomr the industrial engineering body of knowlegde. Case studies, examples from industry and exercises will help you to better understand and apply the various analysis and improvement tools.
