This one day class presents the historic improvement program of TWI. During the day will be demonstrated the genuine 4 step methods of Job Instruction and Job Relation. We will present important aspects during implementation and benefits for each program integrated in Training Within Industry. They key role of front line supervision and the development of essential skills for a good supervisions are the focus of this hands-on training program.
TWI, Toyota & Lean Manufacturing: Between 1950 and 1960 Toyota used TWI to instruct employees as a part of Toyota Production System. TWI is today seen as the origin of modern improvement programs: standardized work ( Job Instruction), Leadership ( Job Relations), Kaizen (Job Methods). Recently Training Within Industry was called "the missing link", essential premise to ensure sustainability of any Lean initiative.
What can I do with this training?
The objective of this 1 day course is to understand the benefits and role of TWI in development of a well trained front line supervision, observe the live demonstration of Job Instruction and Job Relations.
